Pictures from IRL 2008.  March 28 and 29, 2008.  Gainsco Auto Insurance Indy 300.  Not many pictures this time.  Just the TV compound and a few from the roof where the media and spotters are stationed during a race.

Sound levels.   I just got a new Sound Level Meter.  Just in case you were wondering, I got 114.7 dB right by the fence near the finish line.  That's only for a second as the loudest cars pass.   Using fast response, dBA.  As time permits, I may try some other locations around the track.

Under the main grandstands, about 125' from the track, 70.7 to 101.8 dBA
